I was lucky enough to spend a few hours there today and truly enjoyed every minute, starting from the moment I walked in the front door. I was greeted by Emily & Sharon - they made sure I was comfortable while I waited for my appointment. The restored home gives you a sense of peace and is a welcomed respite from the hustle and bustle of daily routines.
I enjoyed working with Alicia Arranz, Owner/Stylist of Lovie's. She did a great job on my hair including highlights/lowlights, and cut & style - I left feeling refreshed and pretty! Lovie’s is a full service salon in Corolla offering not only hair styling, but massages, brow shaping, wedding & special event styling, and men’s styling/grooming. I would highly recommend spending some time at Lovie’s on your next visit to Corolla. You deserve to pamper yourself! You may want to contact them before your arrival, just to make sure you can get a reservation!

- A Greener Shade of You offers designer organic clothing, handmade jewelry, and locally made all natural lavender-based bath and body products.
- Island Bookstore is a year-round, full service bookstore - special orders are welcomed and shipping is available as well. In a time when bookstores are disappearing all over the country, we are so lucky to have Island Bookstore in our town!
- Lighthouse Garden has a selection of home and porch decor items, from silk flowers to Guy Wolff pottery, garden statuary, Italian ceramics, ironwork and architectural ornaments. The shop is housed in a restored village house known as the Parker House, which was built in 1900 and relocated to its present site in 1920.
- The Corolla Wild Horse Fund has a museum located in Corolla Village as well. Here you can learn all about the Spanish Mustangs and book a horse tour if you’d like.
One last thing I’d like to mention and one of my favorite topics - food! There are 2 places to purchase a great lunch or dinner while walking around Corolla Village: Corolla Village BBQ and the Corolla Village Food Truck. Both are yummy stops if you're in Corolla Village and well worth the wait!
