Ocean Lake is a small community located within Ocean Sands. Ocean Lake's guests enjoy access to a large community pool and kiddie pool. There are four tennis courts for your pleasure.

Community pool is open from May 28th - October 1st (weather permitting), 10 am to 7 pm.

The Currituck Club is nestled in a pristine maritime forest along the Currituck Sound and is known for its championship Rees Jones golf course and the privacy of a gated community. Other amenities include a fitness center, severalpools and outdoor tennis courts. Trolley and beach valet service makes getting to the beach a breeze.

The community pool by the main gate is open from May 15th - October 10th (weather permitting). The North and South community pools are open from May 28th - September 6 (weather permitting). The Hammocks community pool is open from May 28th - October 10th (weather permitting).

Corolla Light is a resort village unparalleled by any other on the Outer Banks. It is located on a narrow stretch of land between the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound and offers a wide range of amenities. The Oceanfront Clubhouse has 3 oceanfront pools, lighted basketball and shuffleboard courts, a game room and playground. Corolla Light Resort guests receive reduced greens fees at Kilmarlic Golf Club, The Carolina Club, Seascape Golf Club and The Pointe Golf Club.

The Villas at Corolla Bay surround the large community pool and recreation center that provides guests a bath house, half court basketball, shuffleboard, a volleyball court and a picnic area. Wild horses once roamed the dunes and marshes here. Wide lovely beaches are perfect for your family and friends. Relax in the oceanfront pool or wander over to the lakefront pool with changing areas. Play tennis next to the lake on one of the community's 4 private tennis courts. The new Estuarine Sanctuary walk is a nice introduction to Corolla's tranquility. The paved road ends in this community.

The addition of a Fitness Center rounds out your vacation options. The facility is equipped with cardiovascular and combination equipment along with freestanding weights. Only guests of the Villages at Ocean Hill may purchase either a daily or weekly membership to this private center.

Pine Island is situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Audubon Wildlife Refuge. This special community is known for its large beautiful homes. Pine Island offers a unique oceanside setting with two pool complexes offering facilities that include restrooms, baby pool, showers, picnic tables, and playground equipment. Next to the northern pool are the two tennis courts. There is a pedestrian/bike path located along the length of Pine Island.

Simply peaceful. Sandy paths lead you from the 'real world' to a quieter more quaint community. A onetime fishing and hunting community, Corolla Village is home to the Currituck Beach Lighthouse. The 150 ft. red brick lighthouse was put into commission in 1875 and is open to the public. The Whalehead Club, a hunt club, offers tours of the historical site.

Whalehead Beach, known for its large lots, wide beaches and family atmosphere, is a long time favorite of beachgoers. Public beach accesses are conveniently located at cross streets and there are plenty of parking areas less than a block from the ocean. The quiet community is centrally and offers easy access to shopping and entertainment.

Ocean Sands is a large oceanside community with miles of wide beaches. Cul-de-sac roads lead you to the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Lovely dunes with sea oats enhance the natural vistas.
