First of all, how is it already November?! Today is a beautiful day. Right now on the Outer Banks, it's 55 with an overnight low of 39. My last video was shot in Ocean Hill which is located on the northern end on Corolla. Today I went to the southern end and shot some video from Pine Island. Again, the majority of the damage was to the dune line. Most of the beach walkways are broken or even missing and there is a large part of the dune missing. I will try to get some shots of the other neighborhoods by next week so I can show you what the beach looks like all along Corolla. We were lucky that Hurricane Sandy didn't make direct landfall on the Outer Banks. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been affected by the storm. It is just devastating to see the footage.
