Happy Monday from the Outer Banks!

Today we have a high of 76 with a low of 57. The water is 68.

While it might not be ideal swimming conditions, fishing has been amazing lately.  October and November are two of the best months to fish on the Outer Banks. Currently Black Drum, Bluefish, Flounder, Red Drum and Sea Mullet are all biting.  And because we are "off season" you can also drive your 4X4 vehicle on the beach to make easy access!

Today feels like a personal "welcome home" to me. Last week I was on vacation. If you can believe it, even us Outer Bankers need a vacation! Can you guess where I went? The mountains! It was beautiful to see the leaves changing and I loved to cool crisp mornings. But nothing feels more like home than the beach on a day like today!

Whether you enjoy fishing, walking or just relaxing on your deck with a hot cup of coffee- this is definitely the place to be.
