  • Sweetheart 8k and 1 miler - The Outer Banks Running Club proudly presents the 5th running of the Sweetheart 8k &1 miler on February 11th. Runners registering as a Male/Female team will be entered to win the Special Sweetheart Team Prize. Each registered team will have their finish times combined and the team with the lowest combined score will win the prize.  George Washington Memorial Park in Manteo. obrcyevette@charter.net
  • Stumpy Point Oyster Roast - Seafood lovers come from as far away as Delaware and Maryland to sample the scrumptious fare of fish, oysters, and hushpuppies, along with homemade coleslaw, baked beans, oven-baked butter potatoes, and the best baked desserts that the locals have to offer!
