Corolla Classic Vacations is pleased to announce Nancy Russell, Operations Administrator, is the recipient of the Currituck County Hospitality Customer Service Award in the Behind-the-Scenes category. Nancy was nominated by an overwhelming majority of her peers as a person that exemplifies great customer service skills and an excellent example for other employees. Nancy received the award at the Currituck Chamber of Commerce’s annual luncheon meeting on September 23, 2010. She has been with Corolla Classic Vacations for over six years beginning in the reservations department before moving to housekeeping administration and finally her current position as Operations Administrator. She deals directly with many homeowners, rental guests and visitors as well as oversees the maintenance, housekeeping and linen departments. In her nomination letter, Susan Mason of Corolla Classic Vacations says, “Nancy is the first person to jump in to tackle a new job or resolve an issue. She has high expectations of everyone in the company and if we falter, she empathizes with owners and guests. No job is too small or irrelevant to Nancy.”
